Over 25 years of the Union State existence, Moscow and Minsk have made serious progress in the unification of legislation. This was stated by Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov on December 6, answering the question of "Izvestia" correspondent.
"Let's assume that in the tax sphere we have a whole roadmap for the unification of taxes. We are creating equal conditions for businesses to operate. There is a whole roadmap plan to integrate conditions for the work of entrepreneurs, citizens, movement, roaming and so on. I think the work is yielding results," he said on the sidelines of the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State.
The Minister added that citizens of both countries can be asked about the results of work in this direction.
Earlier in the day, Belarusian Economy Minister Yuri Chebotar, answering the question of "Izvestia," emphasized that over 25 years of development of the Union State, the main thing is that Moscow and Minsk do not stop and regularly "take new heights." He added that cooperation with Russia is important for Belarus, including to improve the quality of trade.
December 6, Minsk hosts a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, which was addressed by Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko.
