US President-elect Donald Trump is going to change the order of elections in the state. This was reported on December 6 by the American edition of Newsweek.

"We need to put this country in order, including elections. <...> We're going to do something that has really been necessary for a long time," he said at the presentation of the Patriot of the Year award.

He said the incoming administration wants to advocate for paper ballots, one-day voting, voter ID, and proof of citizenship.

In addition, Trump recalled that California has a law that prohibits local governments from requiring voters to show ID. He stated that he intends to put "the whole country in order."

Earlier in the day, Trump received the Patriot of the Year award at the annual Fox Nation Patriots Awards in New York City. In his acceptance speech, he stated that "America will be great again."

Before that, on November 15, political scientist-Americanist Malek Dudakov expressed the opinion that after the inauguration of Trump we should expect significant changes in the foreign policy of the United States. According to him, compared to 2016, the team of the President-elect is now much more "Trumpist".

The election of the 47th president of the United States was held on November 5. In the national vote, Trump received 51% of the vote, while the Democratic candidate Kamala Harris received 47.4%. Later, the politician, speaking to supporters, called himself the 47th President of the United States and said that his goal as head of state considers the end of military conflicts in the world. Trump's inauguration will take place on January 20, 2025.
