- The IV Scientific and Educational Medical Forum "Young Medicine" was held on December 4


The event was held as part of the traditional Russian Healthcare Week.
The forum "Young Medicine" in 2024 gathered more than 500 participants in offline format and more than 2.5 thousand watched the live broadcast online. In his welcoming speech to the participants and organizers of the forum, the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko stressed that "it is fundamental research of young scientists combined with practical implementation of new approaches and technologies that is critical for achieving Russia's technological sovereignty". According to the Minister, the distinctive feature of the "Young Medicine" project is its ability not only to identify talented young scientists, but also to provide them with support at all stages - from the idea to the practical implementation of the results of their work in clinical practice.
Welcoming speeches were also made by Inna Svyatenko, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Tatyana Moskalkova, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, Ekaterina Filatov, President of the International Foundation for the Development of Biomedical Technologies named after V.P. Filatov, and others. Ekaterina Dibrova, President of the Filatov International Foundation for Development of Biomedical Technologies, and Maxim Fateyev, Director General of Expocenter. Ekaterina Dibrova told about the work on the support of the laureates' projects all the way from the contest application to the presentation at the leading specialized events of the country (SPIEF, "Naukabiomed", Russian Healthcare Week), at the meetings of the working groups of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. In 2024 alone, three invention patents have been obtained among the laureates. "This is truly breakthrough research in the field of regenerative medicine, and it is already bringing real benefits, including in the rehabilitation of veterans of the NWO."
As part of the forum, the results of the All-Russian Scientific School's Medicine Young competition were announced. In 2024, 412 project works from 52 regions of Russia, as well as from other countries: Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan were submitted to the competition for young scientists. 206 medical universities and research centers took part in the project.
The winners in six nominations selected by the contest's expert council were awarded at the ceremony. The list of winners is characterized by a wide geography: these are young scientists from Novosibirsk, Orenburg, Samara, Volgograd, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Lugansk. This year's developments were divided into two areas: research and development (R&D) and projects. In the nomination "Leaders of medical innovations in the regions - the best regional project" Alexander Denisenko, a resident of the plastic surgery department from Samara State Medical University, won. Ilya Bodrov, a paramedic from Centraviamed, was awarded for "Digital Breakthrough - the best solution in the sphere of IT-technologies implementation in healthcare".
In the nomination "Young Scientists to People" for the best project in the field of solving socially important issues of health care won the project of Azamat Maksyutov, ophthalmologist from the Orenburg branch of NMC "Eye Microsurgery" named after Academician S.N. Fedorov and the research work of Ksenia Zhukova, a 5th year student of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Volgograd State Medical University. The name award of the International Foundation for the Development of Biomedical Technologies named after V.P. Filatov. V.P. Filatov International Foundation for Development of Biomedicine Technologies "Biomedicine - the Future" was awarded to Alexandra Buntovskaya, a doctor of clinical laboratory diagnostics from the research center of the Kirov Military Medical Academy. S.M. Kirov. Anastasia Nasibullina, deputy head of the laboratory of the Scientific and Practical Clinical Center for Diagnostics and Telemedicine Technologies, was awarded for the best project in the field of ensuring Russia's technological sovereignty. In the already traditional nomination "Woman Scientist in Medicine", the members of the competition's expert council noted the works of Daria Davydova, a member of the Scientific Society of Young Scientists and Students, and Christina Krasner, an ophthalmologist at the Novosibirsk branch of the S.N. Fedorov Eye Microsurgery Center.
Another event within the framework of the forum was the signing of a cooperation agreement between the V.P. Filatov International Foundation for the Development of Biomedical Technologies and the Novosibirsk branch of the S.N. Fedorov NMIc Eye Microsurgery. V.P. Filatov International Foundation for the Development of Biomedical Technologies and the National Center for Historical Memory under the President of the Russian Federation represented by the head of the center Elena Malysheva. As Ekaterina Dibrova noted, thanks to this cooperation, scientific and historical documents, books and works of great Russian scientists will be created and republished for our future generations.
