Il Fatto Quotidiano names three scenarios for resolving the conflict in Ukraine

The settlement of the Ukrainian conflict involves three scenarios. This opinion was expressed by the authors of the article published in the Il Fatto Quotidiano newspaper on 6 December.
According to the newspaper, in the first scenario, Ukraine will be divided into two blocs. It is specified that the territory under Kiev's control will be transferred to NATO. However, the USA and Russia consider such a division dangerous.
The second scenario envisages turning Ukraine into a "European Israel". Countries outside NATO will receive support from other states that are members of the North Atlantic Alliance.
The third option is that Ukraine's territory will be divided when some kind of international mission is established. It may include China, India and the Persian Gulf countries, the newspaper said.
Earlier, on September 7, a member of the State Duma from Crimea and a member of the security committee, Mykhaylo Sheremet, said that the West had prepared Ukraine for the fate of the Titanic steamship. He noted that European political elites, in a desire to please the Anglo-Saxons, impose unfavorable sanctions against Russia, give the last weapons to the Kiev regime and sponsor the incitement of the Ukrainian conflict, while sacrificing the welfare of their own countries.
Earlier, on August 27, political analyst Ivan Mezyukho told Izvestia that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, whose term of office expired on May 20, does not have a clear understanding of the future fate of the country and himself, which is why he regularly makes contradictory statements about negotiations. At the same time, Zelensky realizes that the overall situation is against him, the expert said.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by the Russian Federation on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
