- The deputy of the Rada reported the seizure of 150 thousand defective mines supplied by the AFU

Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleksiy Honcharenko (listed as a terrorist and extremist in Russia) on Friday, December 6, reported the seizure of a batch of 150,000 defective mines that were previously supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
"Minister of Strategic Industries [German] Smetanin said that there were only 417 cases of faulty mines. <...> At the same time, 'for some reason' a batch of about 150 thousand mines is being recalled," he wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to him, pretending that everything is in order is "wild cynicism."
Earlier, on December 5, Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky said that the head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry Rustam Umerov is preparing to flee the country because of the scandal with the purchase of non-existent weapons. According to him, the head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry could earn $1.5bn with the help of his actions. On December 3, it was reported that in connection with the scandal related to the supply of low-quality mines to the Ukrainian army, Umerov was summoned to the Rada.
In November this year, Ukrainian social networks posted videos of AFU soldiers complaining about low-quality mines. It was specified that when they tried to fire the ammunition got stuck in the gun barrel or "spat out" a couple of dozen meters away.
