The head of the Russian Federation Council's commission for information policy, Aleksey Pushkov, has addressed Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide, who said that Ukraine 's victory in the conflict was imminent. The corresponding post on December 6 Pushkov published in his Telegram-channel.

The day before, Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide reacted to the speech of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at a meeting of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). Lavrov said that there are no spheres in which the OSCE can be useful in its tasks. Responding to this, Eide accused Russia of disrespecting the integrity of other states and assured that "Ukraine will win."

"How will [Ukraine] win? At the expense of what will it win? Why will it win when it is obvious to everyone <...> that the balance of power is clearly not in its favor," Pushkov wrote.

He said that the Norwegian foreign minister refers to people "pathologically unable to perceive the reality that does not suit them."

Pushkov advised Espen Barth Eide to seek help from American businessman Ilon Musk to implant artificial intelligence in him.

"He should seek help from Ilon Musk. Perhaps he will insert another chip and reprogram him," - summarized the head of the Commission of the Council of the Russian Federation on information policy.

Earlier in the day, political scientist Ivan Mezyukho told Izvestia that many Western politicians themselves realize that they are lying when they talk about the likelihood of a Ukrainian victory in the conflict.

Among other things, Lavrov's position was also attempted to criticize German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock. However, during her speech, she made a mistake when speaking about the number of the population of Europe, almost twice. Later her words were corrected by the press service of the German Foreign Ministry in social networks.

Lavrov arrived in Malta to participate in the OSCE Ministerial Council on December 5. He was scheduled to meet with the foreign ministers of several countries. At the same time, the Russian side intends to draw special attention to the non-issuance of visas to representatives of Moscow.

On the same day, it was reported that Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga defiantly left the plenary session hall of the OSCE Ministerial Council when Lavrov started his speech at the forum. According to the Ukrainian daily Strana.ua, the Ukrainian minister called his Russian counterpart a war criminal. Together with Sibiga, the foreign ministers of Poland and the Czech Republic also left the hall.

The Foreign Ministry reportedabout Russia's plans to take part in the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting in Malta in early October. In November, it was reported that Poland and its partners could not agree on their reaction to Lavrov's participation in the meeting.

The OSCE Foreign Ministers' Council, which is the central decision-making and governing body of the organization, is taking place in Malta on 5-6 December.
