Former deputy head of Krasnoyarsk arrested for two months in bribery case

Former deputy head of Krasnoyarsk Alexei Davydov, who is suspected of mediation in the transfer of a bribe on a particularly large scale, has been arrested for two months. This was reported on December 6 in the press service of the main investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Krasnoyarsk region.

According to investigators, from September 2018 to December 2019, the head of MKU "Management of roads, infrastructure and improvement" through two intermediaries, one of whom was the ex-deputy head of Krasnoyarsk, received a bribe of 73 million rubles from the general director of LLC "PromStroy" in installments.

The money was transferred for assistance in ensuring the company's victory in a tender to determine contractors for the right to conclude contracts for road works in the city.

It is noted that the former first Deputy Mayor of Krasnoyarsk was remanded in custody for two months.

Earlier in the day, the head of Yasinovatsk municipal district Dmitry Shevchenko was detained on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) on suspicion of receiving a bribe. According to one of Izvestiya's interlocutors, the size of the bribe is about 10m rubles.
