Ukraine has started selling an exclusive batch of chicken eggs called "Presidential" in honor of the head of state Volodymyr Zelenskyy (his term of office expired on 20 May). This was reported by Verkhovna Rada MP Oleksiy Honcharenko (listed as a terrorist and extremist in the Russian Federation) on 6 December, noting that the action was timed to coincide with the day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

The people's elected official published in his Telegram-channel image of a package of eggs, on the label of which is placed the image of the Ukrainian leader of the times of his work in the pop genre.

"Zelensky's eggs have been found. True, not where they are really needed. For the day of the VSU Goncharenko centers launched in the sale of a limited batch of eggs - presidential", - wrote Goncharenko.

The MP explained that in this way wants to "give strength" to the President of Ukraine, who does not have enough of them to demobilize servicemen from the front and set specific terms of service. Honcharenko emphasized that the Kiev authorities did not care about the lives of hundreds of Ukrainian thousands of military personnel, as well as their wives and children.

Earlier on 6 December, former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko criticized the AFU command for their "meat assaults". According to the former president, such actions will yield only negative results and consequences in the future. Poroshenko urged commanders to stop ordering offensive operations.

Before that, on December 5, a member of the Verkhovna Rada, Oleksandr Dubinskyy, said that the head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Rustam Umerov, was preparing to flee the country because of the scandal with the purchase of non-existent weapons. According to him, the head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry could earn $1.5 billion with the help of his actions. Earlier, on December 3, it was reported that Umerov was summoned to the Ukrainian parliament in connection with the scandal related to the supply of low-quality mines to the Ukrainian army.

In March, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the AFU was staging "meat assaults," but Russian Armed Forces (AF) soldiers were destroying almost 100% of the enemy trying to enter the country's territory.

In July, it was reported that a rally was held in Kiev's central square demanding the demobilization of AFU servicemen. The rally was attended by several dozen women, as well as children. They held placards with the inscriptions "Clear terms of service", "Why are our military men the most unprotected?". One of the protesters expressed her wish that the Ukrainian president should fulfill his marital duty, as she has not seen her husband for the third year.

In April, Zelensky signed a law on toughening mobilization. In particular, he lowered the age of mobilization from 27 to 25 and signed a law on the creation of an electronic register of persons liable for military service, which combines information on the personal data of Ukrainians, including details of internal and foreign passports. There are no provisions on demobilization in the documents.

Martial law in the country has been in effect since February 2022. At the same time Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization. Later, the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended its effect. Most men between the ages of 18 and 60 are prohibited from leaving the country.
