Rospotrebnadzor sealed two Moremania cafes in Moscow due to violations

In connection with the revealed violations Rospotrebnadzor sealed two cafes "Moremania" in Moscow, as well as seized culinary products from the establishments. This was reported by the sanitary service on its website on December 6.

Rospotrebnadzor conducted unscheduled on-site inspections of the cafes on Kievskaya Street and Prospekt Mira after publications in the media. As a result of the inspections, the information on violations was confirmed.

"In the course of unscheduled on-site inspections in the period from 02.12.2024 to 04.12.2024, the information published in the media was confirmed. <...> Withdrawn from the sale of 73 kg of culinary products, including semi-finished products and raw materials", - stated in the message.

It is specified that establishments violated the temperature regime of product storage, the ingredients in the production facilities lacked labeling, in the refrigerator found masago caviar with signs of rotting. In addition, the sequence of technological processes was not ensured, the sanitary maintenance of production premises was not satisfied, and the storage of detergents in the bar area was recorded.

"The premises of the restaurants 03.12.2024 and 04.12.2024 were sealed, in respect of legal entities (LLC "SEVRYBA", JSC "SK Service") drew up protocols on the temporary ban on activity and administrative offense under article 6.6 of the CAO RF", - added in Rospotrebnadzor.

On the eve of the head of the public council at Rospotrebnadzor, head of the Public Consumer Initiative Oleg Pavlov sent a letter to the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin asking the government to support the Ministry of Agriculture in banning fish products in which non-living parasite larvae are found. Pavlov offered to support the position of consumers and the Ministry of Agriculture, which has developed the relevant amendments to the Eurasian Economic Union technical regulations "On the safety of fish and fish products".
