- The head of the Ministry of Finance of Abkhazia reported about the deficit of funds for salaries of state employees

Abkhazia has no funds to pay salaries to employees of budgetary organizations. This was reported by acting Finance Minister of the republic Vladimir Delba on December 6.
"It is not paid at all. First of all, of course, I draw attention immediately to the power block, law enforcement agencies. Today they are without funding of both salaries and, of course, other mandatory expenses, which are provided by our law," - radio "Sputnik Abkhazia" quotes his words.
Delba noted that if the consolidation of efforts to find funds for the purchase of electricity continues in the republic, then salaries will not be paid either.
Earlier, on December 3, deputies of the Abkhazian parliament voted against ratification of the agreement on investments of Russian legal entities in the republic. In November, Abkhazia's Foreign Ministry told Izvestia about plans to strengthen relations with Russia. The ministry called Russia a strategic ally of the republic.
In September, Russia suspended social payments to teachers, doctors and employees of law enforcement agencies in Abkhazia. At the same time, Abkhaz Foreign Minister Sergei Shamba added that Abkhazia was repeatedly warned at bilateral meetings about the possible consequences of failure to fulfill its obligations.
