In Moscow from January 2, fares for travel in public transport will change. This was reported in the Moscow Department of Transport.

The most favorable tariff will still be when paying for travel by biometrics - 59 rubles. The cost of one trip on tickets "Unified" for 30, 90 and 365 days will change on average by 2 rubles. The ticket "United" for 60 trips will not be sold anymore - instead of it passengers will be able to use the ticket "Purse": trips on it are not burned within 45 days, and when transferring from the subway, MCC, MCD to ground transport there is a 50% discount for the next trip.

At the same time, the capital's schoolchildren and students will have the most affordable passes. Tickets without a limit of trips will also be the most favorable among large cities of Russia.

In Deptrans explained that the adjustment of tariffs is necessary for modernization and effective work of the transport system of the city. The funds received from indexation will be directed, in particular, to the development of the ticket system and passenger services.

"In the capital, passengers make the longest trips, while the cost per traveled distance in Moscow is much lower than in other major cities of the country. And the fares themselves since 2011 remain below inflation by 25%", - noted in the Department of Transport of the capital.

It also informed that since January 1, 2025 the cost of evacuation of vehicles will be adjusted. It will remain below the actual costs of the capital for moving cars.
