Heavy snow forecasted in Kamchatka due to the onset of the cyclone

A Pacific cyclone is approaching the coast of the Kamchatka Territory. Forecasters predict heavy snow in the region over the weekend.

According to the Kamchatgidrometcenter, precipitation is expected on the coast on Saturday. Only by evening the active cyclone will go to the extreme south of Kamchatka. This is reported by IA KamchatkaMedia.

Wind speed will reach 15-20 m/s. Blizzards are expected in the night hours.

By Monday, the intensity of the cyclone will weaken, but the cyclonic nature of the weather will remain. Precipitation will stop only in the extreme north.

According to the scientific head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand, warm weather is expected throughout Russia in December.
