Omoda officially unveiled the updated C5 crossover in Russia


Omoda company has presented in Russia updated crossover C5. The restyled parketnik is characterized by a new frameless grille, revised shape of the front bumper and design of wheel rims. This is stated in the message of the Russian office of the Chinese company, which was received by "Izvestia" on December 6.
The updated crossover is presented in six configurations, one half with front-wheel drive, the other half with all-wheel drive. In the first case, the C5 has a 147-horsepower engine of 1.5 liters and a variator, in the second - 150-horsepower motor 1.6 in conjunction with a seven-speed "robot" with two clutches. There are no changes in the technical part.
Omoda C5 is available in eight color variants, white and silver shades can be designed in two-tone variant in combination with a black roof. By default, the crossover is equipped with a package of warm options, including remote engine start and cabin warming, heated front seats, steering wheel, windshield, windshield washer nozzles, and side mirrors.
The price of the crossover varies from 2.52 million to 3.26 million rubles depending on the configuration and excluding special offers. Compared to the prerestyling model, the price of the base version has increased by 200 thousand rubles.
According to the results of October 2024 crossover Omoda C5 entered the top ten best-selling cars in the SUV segment and took ninth place with the result of 3.4 thousand cars sold.
Earlier in the day, it was reported that the new all-wheel drive crossover Jetour T1 is expected on the Russian market in the first half of 2025. In China, the premiere of Jetour T1 took place in April this year. In the home market, the crossover is equipped with a hybrid powertrain based on a 1.5-liter turbo engine. The length of the model is about 4.7 meters with a wheelbase of 2.8 meters.
