Three people killed and three wounded due to AFU drone strike in Kherson region


Three people have been killed and three others injured as a result of a kamikaze drone attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a humanitarian aid distribution point in Alyoshki in Kherson Region. This was reported by the Governor of the region Volodymyr Saldo on December 6.
"As a result of the strike on the humanitarian aid delivery point three people were killed. Three more citizens were seriously injured and hospitalized in the Alyoshki central district hospital, where they are now in intensive care in extremely serious condition," he wrote in his Telegram-channel.
Saldo expressed condolences to the families and friends of the victims. He noted that the authorities will provide the necessary assistance to the victims and guarantee the safety of the residents of the region.
The governor also added that all the details of the incident will be clarified.
Earlier, on December 4, two civilians were injured as a result of attacks by two AFU drones in the town of Shebekino in Belgorod region. The first male victim was injured when the drone detonated against the roadbed. He went to the Shebekino Central Regional Hospital with a mine blast injury and a blind shrapnel wound to the chest. Another local resident, injured during the attack of the second UAV, had a mine blast injury and a blind shrapnel wound to his back, he was hospitalized. Both victims were given the necessary assistance.
The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
