"Rossiyskaya Gazeta" presented the results of the second annual rating of lawyers and their companies. The project was launched in May 2024, becoming a continuation of the initiative successfully implemented in 2023. The rating is designed to evaluate professionals in the legal industry on the basis of an open competition.

Applications were accepted in free form. Participants could describe their projects and achievements without strict limitations, which allowed to take into account the individual approach of each person. An important criterion was the absence of time limits: projects that were relevant at the time of submission, regardless of their duration, were allowed for consideration.

The rating is based on applications submitted by lawyers from different regions of the country, with no distinction between metropolitan and regional participants. During the selection process, emphasis was placed on specific professionals rather than on their firms.

The names of the best lawyers are divided into five groups reflecting the level of professionalism and significance of their projects. The first group includes the most reputable experts. The rating includes only those who complied with the principle of "one person - one questionnaire".

The list covers 20 nominations, including arbitration, tax law, corporate transactions, healthcare, family law and others. Special nominations such as legal education and pro bono are also highlighted.

This year the number of applications increased by 90%, however, about 20% of the applications were rejected due to non-compliance with the requirements. To confirm their high status, rating participants were given the opportunity to use the project's official symbols.

The Rossiyskaya Gazeta rating has become one of the significant tools for evaluating the legal profession and demonstrating best practices in the market.
