Rostec State Corporation's High-Precision Complexes Holding has fulfilled its annual contract for the supply of BTR-MDM multi-purpose armored personnel carriers under the state defense order. The holding company announced this on December 6.
"The combat vehicles before delivery to the Defense Ministry were equipped with additional protection kits, means of reducing visibility in the thermal and radar spectrum "Nakidka" and protection of the upper hemisphere under the terms of the contract," the company said in a message in the Telegram channel of High-Precision Complexes.
The holding said that the Rakushka APC-MDM is capable of carrying up to 13 paratroopers, ammunition, spare parts, fuel and lubricants in airborne units under any combat conditions and in different types of climate. The crew of the Rakushka consists of two people, the vehicle develops a maximum speed of at least 70 km/h on the highway, and 45 to 50 km/h on a dry dirt road.
High-Precision Complexes emphasized that the holding works at an outstanding pace, fulfilling the state defense order qualitatively and on time.
Earlier, on November 11, Rostec State Corporation handed over another batch of new Su-57 and Su-35S aircraft to the Russian Air and Space Forces. These aircraft have passed all necessary tests and arrived at the basing airfield. Rostec CEO Sergey Chemezov said that the Su-57E is a fifth-generation fighter that can utilize a wide range of guided precision-guided weapons, including X-69 cruise missiles.
