Sobyanin announced the cancellation of New Year's fireworks in Moscow


There are no plans to launch New Year fireworks in Moscow this year. This was announced by the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin on December 6.
"No, there are no plans," he told RIA Novosti.
Earlier, on December 21, 2023, also canceled fireworks on New Year's Eve.
In 2022, at least 30 regions, in particular the Kostroma, Kaluga, Astrakhan, Orel regions, Chukotka, Rostov-on-Don and other subjects of the Russian Federation refused New Year's Eve fireworks.
