- Israel assessed the readiness of Russia and the United States for a constructive dialog

Before starting negotiations between Russia and the United States, it is necessary to establish a dialog. This was stated by the former head of the Israeli intelligence service Nativ, political scientist Yaakov Kedmi in an interview with Pogled Info on December 6. The video was published by the portal on its YouTube channel.
"Negotiations are the next stage," he noted.
By the term "negotiations," Kedmi means the presentation of thoughts by each side and the willingness to listen to each other. The future of communication between Moscow and Washington will depend on the course of the dialog, within the framework of which the parties will only exchange views on the resolution of the conflict, the political scientist emphasized.
On the same day, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia and the United States could cooperate for the sake of the universe. Answering the question of journalist Tucker Carlson whether Lavrov believes that the US and Russia are currently at war, he replied that the Russian side would not want that. The diplomat also added that Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly expressed his respect for the American people, the history of the United States, and American achievements in the world.
On December 4, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that Russia was ready to consider US President-elect Donald Trump's proposals on Ukraine. The diplomat specified that at the moment Moscow had no direct contacts with Trump about his comments on ending the Ukrainian conflict in 24 hours.
