Emergency Situations Ministry employees from the Tula region and Russian citizens have sent humanitarian aid to servicemen in the Kursk region. This was reported in the press service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry on December 6.
"Tula rescuers of the EMERCOM of Russia together with not indifferent citizens sent a cross-country vehicle to the Kursk region," - stated in the message of the press service in Telegram-channel.
It is specified that the humanitarian aid also included various food products, warm clothes, several portable detectors of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV), diesel generators, as well as a motorcycle and winter tires.
Earlier, on December 4, it became known that volunteers of the "People's Front" delivered humanitarian aid to civilians of the liberated town of Selidovo in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR). The aid included 100 packages, including food kits.
Ukrainian militants attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character. The liquidation of the AFU units invading the Russian territory is underway.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
