The Ministry of Health has planned changes to the order of formation of sick leave cards

The procedure for the formation of sick pay is to be changed from September 1, 2025. The corresponding draft order of the Ministry of health of the Russian Federation was published on the portal of draft regulatory legal acts.

"To approve the procedure for the examination of temporary incapacity for work according to the annex", - stated in the document.

It is specified that at the moment the project is at the stage of summarizing the results of its public discussion. The new rules should come into force on September 1, 2025. According to the updated regulations, the number of certificates of incapacity for work issued to an individual citizen will be taken into account for the timely detection and prevention of serious diseases.

As reported "RIA Novosti" in the press service of the Ministry of Health, this project should improve the quality of medical care for citizens of working age.

Earlier, December 6, the head of the faction "Just Russia - For Truth" Sergei Mironov proposed to introduce indexation of sick leave. The deputy asks in order to respect the rights of citizens to health care and social protection to consider the possibility of making changes to the procedure for calculating and paying compensation for sick leave.
