The governor of Voronezh region reported the elimination of several Ukrainian UAVs

Air defense and electronic warfare forces have eliminated several drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Voronezh Region. This was reported by the governor of the region Alexander Gusev on December 6.

"On-duty air defense forces and REB means in the suburbs of Voronezh and districts of the region detected and destroyed several Ukrainian drones," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

He noted that there were no casualties and destruction as a result of the attack.

Earlier, on December 5, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense forces destroyed two AFU drones over the waters of the Black Sea. The ministry specified that two Ukrainian drones were destroyed by air defense forces on duty.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
