Grad MLRS calculations destroyed AFU personnel and equipment in the Kursk border area

Grad multiple rocket launchers of the Marine infantry unit of the "North" group of troops have destroyed positions with manpower and military equipment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) in the border area of Kursk Region while carrying out firing tasks. This was reported in the Russian Defense Ministry on December 6.

"Here we are fighting for our land, for our people. We beat the enemy mercilessly, ruthlessly, sharply and clearly," said a gunner with the call sign Yaman.

Russian scouts using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) were able to detect the enemy targets and transmit the exact coordinates to the artillerymen. After that, the Grad MLRS crews prepared the rocket launchers for firing and launched a strike.

When the scouts confirmed that the targets had been hit, the artillerymen promptly rolled up and moved to a safe place to reload the guns.

The MLRS crews operate around the clock and are on constant duty alongside the UAV crews. Thanks to this, the artillerymen can use surprise tactics, which allows them to destroy enemy points with a higher probability, the agency said.

Earlier, on December 3, the BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers of the Tula Guards Airborne Troops unit destroyed a cluster of infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine while carrying out combat missions in the border areas of Kursk region.

The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character. The operation to destroy the militants continues.
