A Fagot PTRK unit destroyed a repeater of the AFU drone control center

A team of anti-tank missile systems (ATMS) of the Airborne Troops' artillery unit has destroyed a repeater of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' (AFU) unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) control center on Pervomaysky Island in the Dnieper estuary. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 6.
According to the ministry, the UAV operators recorded that a repeater was being installed on a communications tower on Pervomaysky Island in the Dnieper estuary to increase the flight zone of enemy FPV drones and a UAV control center, from where the drones were launched and controlled. Then the decision was made to strike the enemy with the Fagot anti-tank missile system.
It is reported that the calculation of the system promptly moved to the firing position, where they launched guided missiles from the coast of Kinburn Spit. With accurate hits the fighters destroyed the targets identified by air reconnaissance of the Airborne Forces on the island. After hitting the enemy target, the PTRK crew changed position to avoid return fire from the Ukrainian units.
Paratroopers have to systematically destroy in the Dnieper estuary boats and motorboats of the AFU, which are trying to approach the defensive positions of the Russian army on the spit, as well as enemy UAV calculations, signal repeaters on towers and observation posts of the AFU near the settlement of Ochakov in the Nikolaev region and Pervomaysky Island, the department added.
"The enemy is constantly conducting aerial reconnaissance, trying to find weak spots, probing with uncrewed boats, FPV drones small, but he does not succeed," said the head of intelligence of the anti-tank division with the call sign Okhotnik.
Earlier, on November 1, the calculation of anti-tank missile system "Fagot" of the grouping of troops "Dnipro" hit the infantry of the AFU in Zaporizhzhya region. The servicemen on an ATV promptly arrived at the firing point, from where they inflicted a fire defeat on the AFU from the Fagot anti-tank missile system.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
