Overchuk names the share of national currencies in the structure of settlements between Russia and Belarus

Trade between Russia and Belarus is made in national currencies by 98%. This was stated to "Izvestia" by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexei Overchuk.

"The share of national currencies in mutual settlements between Russia and Belarus is already about 98%. And there is no special goal for Moscow and Minsk to achieve a share of 100%. It happens by itself. Business itself decides what is convenient for it, so it works," he said.

At the end of 2023, the volume of settlements between Russia and Belarus amounted to 92%.
