Air defense forces destroyed two AFU drones over the Black Sea waters

Air defense forces have destroyed two drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the waters of the Black Sea near the Crimean Peninsula. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 5.

"From 21:00 to 22:00 Moscow time, an attempt by the Kiev regime to commit a terrorist attack with the use of aircraft-type UAVs on objects on the territory of the Russian Federation was suppressed", - stated in the message of the Department in Telegram-channel.

The Defense Ministry said that two Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed by on-duty air defense equipment.

Earlier, on December 2, the Defense Ministry reported 15 destroyed UAVs over three Russian regions. It is reported that eight UAVs were destroyed over the territory of Kursk region, four over the territory of Bryansk region, two over the territory of the Republic of Crimea and one over Belgorod region.

The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
