Russian footballer Cheryshev completes a hat-trick in the Greek Cup soccer match

Russian midfielder Denis Cheryshev scored a hat-trick in the Greek Cup match. Thanks to this, Panionios advanced to the quarterfinals of the competition.

Cheryshev scored three goals in a match against Panserreikos on December 5, and the Russian's club won 3-0.

In the first meeting, Pancerraikos won 2-0. Thus, the score on the aggregate of the two matches became 3:2 in favor of the Russian player's team, which allowed the club to reach the quarterfinals of the tournament.

Cheryshev signed a contract with the club in September. Since 2022, Cheryshev played for Italian Serie B side Venice. In 2024, the club did not renew the contract with the midfielder.
