Siluanov ruled out problems with subsidized mortgages in 2025

There will be no problems with preferential family mortgages in 2025. This was announced by Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov on December 5.
He explained that the problems with the limits on preferential mortgages arose, among other things, due to an increase in the rate of the Central Bank (CBR) of Russia.
"The rate has increased, an additional significant resource was required. The total amount of funds <...> more than doubled this year and amounted to more than a trillion rubles. <...> This required money. The money is big. It took finding resources," Siluanov said on air of the TV channel "Russia 1".
According to him, those wishing to get a favorable mortgage will not face problems in the future.
Earlier in the day, Russian President Vladimir Putin called for honest reporting of limits on family mortgages. He noted that the presence of these limits is not told in advance.
On the same day, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin expressed the opinion that the limit on family mortgages should be increased. According to Khusnullin, at the moment the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation is making calculations in search of the possibility of increasing the limit.
Before that, on November 28, deputies of the State Duma appealed to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin with a request to increase the size of the loan on the family mortgage. Deputy Chairman of the Financial Market Committee Arkady Svistunov told "Izvestia" that it would be logical to increase it for all regions for apartments with an area of more than 60 square meters. meter.
The family mortgage program was extended in the summer until 2030. In particular, it applies to families with children, where there is at least one child under the age of six.
