Forecasters predicted rain with snow in Moscow on December 8

Muscovites are expected to face cloudy weather on the weekend, December 7 and 8. The corresponding forecast was shared by "Yandex.Weather" with "Izvestia".

In Moscow, December 7, cloudy weather is expected, in the first half of the day there is a possibility of snowfall. Moderate southeast wind with gusts up to 4.5 m/s is forecast. In the morning the temperature will be -5...-4 degrees, and during the day and evening will remain within -4...-3 degrees.

In cities near Moscow, such as Odintsovo, Podolsk, Lyubertsy, Vidnoye and Domodedovo, the temperature will remain at the level of Moscow.

The start of winter could be one of the warmest in several years

On Sunday, December 8, the weather in Moscow will be cloudy, during the day precipitation in the form of rain and snow is predicted. Morning temperatures are expected at -2 degrees, in the afternoon they will rise to -1, and by evening and night will remain around 0.

A moderate wind is expected, in the morning gusts will reach 3.4 m/s. In the central districts of the capital (Tverskaya, Arbat, Tagansky, Yakimanka) in the morning and afternoon the temperature will be +1 degree higher than in the rest of the city.

In the Moscow region conditions will remain similar to those in the capital: during the day rain with snow is expected, and the temperature will be about 1 degree below Moscow values.

Earlier, on December 2, the scientific head of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand predicted an almost snowless week in Moscow. The specialist warned that the snow would not melt due to the air temperature remaining at 0 degrees Celsius during the day and dropping to negative values at night.
