- The head of the People's Front executive committee spoke about the work of volunteers in the Kursk region

On December 5, Mikhail Kuznetsov, head of the executive committee of the all-Russian public movement "People's Front", told "Izvestia" about the work of volunteers in Kursk Region.
He noted that "the whole country united" to help the residents of Kursk region.
"Guys traveled from all over the country. Our humanitarian headquarters in Kursk worked in three shifts - that's 180 volunteers. 180 people without a break packed, packed food, took and gave, because about 100 thousand people were left homeless," - said the head of the executive committee.
Kuznetsov pointed to the heroism of volunteers who were engaged in evacuation and those who with the help of tactical medicine were able to stabilize the military while the Defense Ministry was deploying medical units.
According to the head of the People's Front executive committee, thanks to the volunteer movement, such a "unity of the rear and the front" was formed.
"Not everyone can come to Kursk, but those millions of absolutely amazing women who weave camouflage nets, sew something - they are also together with our guys," Kuznetsov summarized.
Ukrainian militants attacked Russian positions in border areas of the Kursk region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. The liquidation of the AFU units that invaded the Russian territory is underway.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
