In Kuban evacuators may be obliged to share videos of car removal with drivers
The deputies of the Krasnodar region's Zaksoobranie (ZSK) adopted in the first reading of the bill, according to which tow truck drivers may be obliged to share with motorists video of the movement of their cars. This was reported on December 5 by the press service of the Legislative Assembly.
Also amendments to the regional law assume that the activity on evacuation at rates established by the regional department of state tariff regulation, storage and return of cars will be carried out by SCU Krasnodar region "Center for traffic management".
Deputy Head of the Kuban Ministry of Transport Alexei Smaglyuk noted that the situation with non-compliance of drivers with the requirements of road signs on the prohibition of stopping or parking cars from year to year is becoming more acute. Yuri Burlachko, Chairman of the WSC, expressed confidence that the proposed amendments to the regional law will help to restore order on the roads of the regional center and other major cities of the region.
"Quite strongly affects also unorganized and unconsciousness of some drivers, living by the principle "I drive as I want, park where I want", - said Burlachko, pointing out that the cause of the problem lies not only in the peculiarities of urban development.
On the eve it became known that the deputies are developing a bill that proposes to oblige to call the owner of the car before its evacuation, if the car does not create a critical situation on the road.
November 28, it was reported that the government called for revision of the bill, which proposes to introduce a 50% discount when paying for the evacuation of a detained vehicle. Parliamentarians proposed to introduce the discount provided that payment of the administrative fine and the cost of moving and storage of the evacuated car will be made within 20 days.
