SC "Olympic" may be opened by the beginning of 2027

The sports complex "Olympic" in Moscow may be opened in 2026 - early 2027. This was announced by the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin on December 4 on air of the TV channel "Moscow 24".

According to him, the work on the construction of such a giant object is being carried out by investors, "100% for private money". According to him, this complex is beautiful in architecture and in filling the project.

The total area of the object is more than 800 thousand square meters. According to him, there are no analogues of such a complex neither in Russia nor in Europe, notes the agency of city news "Moscow".

The multifunctional complex will include four buildings. They include three buildings connected by a common stylobate - the main building with a concert hall and an exploitable roof, water and fitness centers, a small concert hall, according to the website kp.ru.

Near the sports complex it is planned to open a new metro station of the Ring Line between "Novoslobodskaya" and "Prospekt Mira" with a transfer to the station "Dostoevskaya" of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya Line.

The capital's Olimpiysky sports complex was closed for reconstruction in 2019.
