UAZ presented a new modification of "Profi"
The Kaluga-based company Hercules has developed a winter version of a road sweeper on the Profi chassis. The combined road machine "Hercules 6530" for housing and communal services and urban landscaping services, which debuted last year, has been supplemented with new functionality, the press service of the Ulyanovsk automobile plant told Izvestia.
Such "Profi" is equipped with a sand-spreading unit and a front hydraulic blade. The set of equipment is designed to distribute loose inert materials and anti-icing agents on the surface of roads and sidewalks. The front removable hydraulic moldboard can be replaced by a sweeping brush. The actuating mechanisms are driven by a hydraulic station from an additional gasoline engine (29 hp).
The driver controls the equipment from the cab. Sprinkling density with anti-icing materials can be automatically adjusted depending on the driving speed (5-30 km/h). The design provides the possibility of seasonal change of sand-spreading equipment for vacuum-sweeping.
"UAZ "Profi" regularly proves its worthiness not only as an independent model, but also as a universal basis for the construction of original special versions. And today we record the growth of requests for the use of Ulyanovsk chassis to create vehicles with often really specific or even unique functionality. Among the advantages of Hercules are year-round functionality, efficiency, availability, including components," - noted the representatives of UAZ.
Earlier, on December 3, the front optics of the updated SUV "UAZ Patriot" for the first time hit the photo. A source close to the Ulyanovsk automobile plant shared the footage with Izvestia on December 3.
November 21, it became known that the Ulyanovsk automobile plant has patented a new steering wheel for the SUV "UAZ Patriot". The new steering wheel is truncated at the bottom and has a smaller diameter, thickening in the grip points and airbag.
