A man-made river was discovered in Lipetsk on 50 Years of NLMK Street

A river, which appeared as a result of human activity, has been discovered in Lipetsk. It is located between the riverbed of the Voronezh River and 50 Years of NLMK Street, reports GOROD48 on Thursday, December 5.
The width of the water flow in some places reaches up to 30 meters. Judging by green deposits in puddles, the man-made river has been flowing for a long time. It is possible that the water is potable, as it has no smell of sewage.
The publication's film crew was able to cross the river only on a handmade planking. The journalists found the source of the stream only near the hypermarket "Metro": the water pours out of two wells under a huge pressure.
The publication appealed to "RVC-Lipetsk" with a request to clarify the situation. The company is already finding out the ownership of the wells.
Earlier it was reported that more than 100 million rubles will be allocated for new attractions for the Lower Park in Lipetsk. The site near "Vzletletka", behind the monument to Narodovodtsy and the road opposite the Central Beach was chosen for the installation of structures.
