- Russian Armed Forces fighter Aliyev, who held the support vessel alone, told about his rehabilitation program

Russian sapper-intelligence officer Zakarya Aliyev, who defended himself against Ukrainian militants, told Izvestia on December 5 that he was undergoing rehabilitation in a center near Moscow.
According to the man, his well-being is improving, but there is still "a lot to do" when it comes to health issues.
"The manifestation of ulcers, exacerbation is present. Mostly bones, head and stuff. There was dehydration," the fighter said.
Aliyev expects that in a week or two he will be able to fully recover.
"It's already a matter of time to return to the SVO zone. My head is not in order yet, mainly because of the contusion. And to be at war, you have to have your head thinking right, reasoning right. Always think a few steps ahead," Aliyev explained.
Aliyev's rescue became known on November 9. After three weeks of defense in the dugout, scouts of the battalion "Alania" were able to detect Aliyev with the help of a drone, after which they evacuated the serviceman. The head of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, called Aliyev a hero.
On December 3, the Russian fighter said that he captured five AFU fighters in a stronghold and the Ukrainian military, in order to eliminate the Russian, attacked the dugout with drones, almost immediately killing all the captives. Aliyev specified that the Ukrainians attacked with 10-15 drones.
