An FPV drone unit of the "North" group of troops destroyed a tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the border area of Kursk Region. Footage of objective control of the operation was published by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 5.

"In the course of reconnaissance activities, servicemen of the "North" troop group using a drone detected the movement of an AFU tank near one of the settlements in the border area of the Kursk region. After analyzing the received intelligence, a decision was made to fire at the enemy tank," the ministry said.

It is specified that the FPV drone hit was accurate and the Ukrainian tank was destroyed.

Frames of objective control came in real time. They show how the strike drone hit the moving tank of the AFU.

Earlier, on December 3, the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of objective control of the destruction of an AFU tank by the FPV-drone calculation of the "North" group of troops in Kharkiv region.

The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. The liquidation of the Ukrainian militants who invaded the Russian territory is underway.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
