One person was killed, three rescued after the capsize of a small boat in Udmurtia. This was reported on December 5 in the Main Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the region.

The incident occurred in the Alnashsky district. According to preliminary data, four fishermen were returning from the catch, moving along the shoreline, their vessel overturned.

"Three men managed to get out of the water on their own, unfortunately, one man drowned. Their identities, the cause and circumstances of the accident are being established," the regional Emergencies Ministry said in a statement published in its Telegram channel.

On November 27, the pleasure craft "Boets" with tourists on board overturned in the waters of the Barents Sea in the Murmansk region. There were 10 people on board. They were rescued by the ship "St. Catherine", all passengers were taken to the shore, no one was injured. Later a criminal case was opened on rendering services that do not meet safety requirements (Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The cause of the roll, which caused the ship to sink, could have been a high wave, a source told Izvestiya that day.
