A vehicle inspection point was installed at the southern gate of Yamal

A new complex for vehicle inspection has been installed at the Karamovsky post in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. With its help it will be possible to identify items prohibited for transportation, the press service of the District Department of Regional Security reported on Thursday, December 5.

The building with equipment for scanning cars is already ready for work. The facility is also equipped with rooms for deep inspection, which will ensure security at the southern gateway of Yamal.

Transportation and cargo will be scanned for illegal goods, explosives and weapons, quickly and without lengthy unloading. As noted by Ura.ru news agency , if suspicious items are found, the information will be immediately transferred to law enforcers.

Earlier it was reported that the state expert examination approved the project for the construction of a road section from the village of Kharp to the ski resort Rai-Iz in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area. The cost of the project is estimated at 10.5 billion rubles.
