In the Pskov region, 90% of inspected lands were found to have violations

Employees of the North-West Department of Rosselkhoznadzor have conducted more than 700 control and supervisory activities in the Pskov region since the beginning of 2024. This was reported by the head of the land supervision department Olka Alekseeva at a press conference of the department on the results of 2024 on Thursday, December 5.

"In the Pskov region, as in principle and everywhere, most often there is an overgrowth of land with weeds," - said the specialist, her words are quoted by the Pskov news tape.

According to Alexeeva, inspections covered 57 thousand hectares of land. Of the 90%, i.e. 54 thousand hectares, violations were detected.

First, violators are issued warnings, which do not carry fines. In case of ignoring it, individuals are fined from Br20 thousand to Br40 thousand, legal entities - from Br400 thousand to Br700 thousand, as well as an order, which is mandatory for execution.

If the violation is not eliminated, the owner of the land plot is held liable through the court under Article 19.5 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation ("Failure to fulfill in time the lawful order of the body exercising state supervision").
