A house of culture will appear in the criminal district of Tyumen

A new building to house the "MAUK Center of Russian Culture" will be built in Tyumen in the microdistrict "Tura" (Lesobaza). The press service of the city administration reports about it on Thursday, December 5.
The state contract for the development of documentation was concluded in July 2024. The term of delivery of the project - until August 20, 2025. After that, the construction of the facility will be considered.
As noted by IA "Ura.ru", citizens consider Lesobaza one of the most criminal areas of the regional capital. An earlier survey showed that 66% of local residents would not buy real estate in this neighborhood.
Earlier it was reported that the authorities of Tyumen proposed to renovate the site, on which eight residential buildings and 19 non-residential buildings are located. The area of the territory is 26 hectares.
