MCD and other suburban trains will switch to the new schedule from December 15

Suburban trains, including the routes of the Moscow Central Diameters (MCD) will switch to the updated schedule from December 15. This is reported on the website of Moscow City Hall on Thursday, December 5.

According to the new schedule, the trains MCD-1 and MCD-2 will run faster, at the first stage their travel time will be reduced by five minutes, the site kp.ru specifies. Also, the schedule of departure and arrival of trains will become more convenient for passengers, the waiting time for transfers will be reduced due to the acceleration of other trains in different directions, RT writes.

In addition, additional trains and express trains will be assigned, some trains will increase the number of cars. In particular, the route from Lobnya to Odintsovo will become faster by two minutes on the Belorussian direction of MCD-1, and by five minutes in the opposite direction.

The last trains will now depart later. So, the route to Zvenigorod will start at 23:02, and the return - at 23:15, notes the agency of city news "Moscow".

In addition, the speed of a number of express trains and some suburban trains will increase: they will be 12 minutes faster. On Savelovsky direction travel time will be reduced by 7-30 minutes depending on the route.

Similar improvements await passengers on Kursk, Riga, Kazan, Kaluga, Nizhny Novgorod, Paveletskiy and Yaroslavl directions, specifies "Moscow 24". On Kiev and Gorky directions some trains and expresses began to run faster, their departure time has been adjusted. The time of departure of electric trains between Moscow and Nara station, Petushki station, Aprelevka and Fryazino station has changed, notes 360.ru.

On November 30, the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin said that the first in the country digital stations of urban transport have been working in Moscow for three months.
