All federal highways in the new regions have been rehabilitated

Now all federal highways in new regions of Russia have been restored, Vyacheslav Petushenko, Chairman of the Board of Avtodor, said in an interview with Izvestia.

The state-owned company is also restoring the network of regional roads that ensure the vital activity of each constituent entity - this is more than 2,000 kilometers in two years, such as approaches to medical institutions, schools and industrial enterprises. Next year we have a planned volume of just over 700 kilometers. Fifteen bridges will also be rehabilitated.

"We went in there in April 2022 with virtually no production capacity. Most men were at the front, the base of industrial and construction materials was either destroyed or not developed," explained Petushenko.
