Over 100 kg of paraphernalia and several tons of decorations were prepared in the Victory Museum for the New Year historical quest "Victory Tree". The interactive team game will start on December 21, the organizers will hold more than 400 fascinating quests during three weeks. For many years "Victory Tree" is considered to be the best New Year's performance in Moscow.

The quest is very popular among young residents and guests of the capital, as its format differs from the usual New Year's trees. The children actively participate in the theatricalized action. Riddles, mysteries and adventures await the children during the one and a half hour fascinating game that immerses them in the past.

"Today kids spend more and more time with gadgets, active games replace computer games for them. Victory Museum offers children to pass the quest not in the virtual, but in the real world. An exciting New Year's journey will not only give participants positive emotions. This is probably the only similar New Year's historical program for children in Moscow", - said Maria Gumenyuk, the head of the project "Victory Tree".

According to the plot of the quest, the team will have to defeat a secret weapon created by the enemy in 1945. This is a prototype of a modern computer with a built-in lie virus. Recently, the electronic machine worked and the virus broke free, spreading lies about the Great Patriotic War on the network. And only a friendly team, which is not afraid of difficulties and dangers, can help protect the truth about the heroes of the past. "Victory Tree" is a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the pages of our country's history in an exciting game form and in the atmosphere of the museum.

"The theatricalized quest involves many characters, not only the traditional Father Frost and Snow Maiden. Children are immersed in the atmosphere of the 40s of the last century, get acquainted with the characters of that time, see the elements of everyday life, uniforms and clothes of that time. In total, more than 40 artists interact with the children," emphasizes Maria Gumenyuk.

All one and a half hour programs are filled with various activities that will be interesting for children from 6 to 13 years old. Adventures in historical scenery, costumed characters, exciting laser tag, secret ciphers and puzzles, a battle with an insidious computer virus are waiting for children. Working in a team, the quest participants will unlock their creative potential, learn to navigate in space, move according to the route. The quest participants will recreate the mosaic of the Moscow Metro station, restore the sketch of the monument "Millennium of Russia" and help the frontline Santa Claus to overcome the virus.

More than 5 thousand square meters are allocated for the quest. For the first time a fascinating team journey will take place in the large-scale immersive exposition "The feat of the People". About 300 employees of the museum and 200 volunteers are involved in the program. Having coped with all the tasks, the children meet Santa Claus and light up the Victory Tree in the majestic hall of generals. A New Year themed gift from the Victory Museum is waiting for each young guest.

The quest "Victory Tree" will be held at the Victory Museum until January 12, 2025. More details - on the website of the project.
