Transport police seized 9 kg of drugs in Rostov region
In Rostov region transport police detained a criminal group of five men selling drugs and seized 9 kg of illegal substances from them. This was reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on December 5.
"The organizer of illegal activity was a 23-year-old resident of Taganrog. Having established interaction with three shady online stores, the man attracted five acquaintances aged 19 to 25 years old to the drug trade and distributed the roles between them," - stated in the message of the Ministry in the Telegram-channel.
Mentors informed the head of the criminal group, where in the Krasnodar region there are drug caches, and the resident of Taganrog together with his accomplice went to pick up the illegal goods by car. The organizer brought the drugs to a rented apartment in Taganrog, where he lived with another accomplice, whose tasks included packing the substances into smaller batches.
When the packages were ready for sale, the other three criminals distributed them in hiding places in the Rostov region, including in forest belts along railroads.
All suspects were detained, law enforcers seized 9 kilograms of illicit substances, including marijuana, hashish, mephedrone and other synthetic drugs. 18 criminal cases under Part 3 of Article 30, paragraph "g" of Part 4 of Article 228.1, Part 3 of Article 30 and Part 5 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal production, sale or transfer of narcotic drugs") were opened against five men.
Earlier, on December 3, in the town of Egoryevsk in Moscow region, law enforcers detained a man who produced mephedrone under the guidance of Ukrainian citizens. The curators gave the Russian money to rent a dacha house for a drug lab. In addition, they informed the man of the coordinates of caches with precursors of the illegal substance. The attacker sold the mephedrone he had manufactured by means of bookmarks.
