Rosgvardiya with the help of kamikaze drones killed up to 10 AFU fighters near Kursk

Rosgvardia special forces have carried out kamikaze drone strikes on positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Kursk Region. This was reported by the press service of the agency on Thursday, December 5.

"During this episode destroyed up to 10 enemy fighters and a vehicle of the National Guard of Ukraine, intended for emergency evacuation of personnel from combat positions", - stated in the message in Telegram-channel.

It is noted that the tactic of using kamikaze drones is an effective alternative to artillery, as it demoralizes the enemy, reduces its combat effectiveness and morale.

Earlier, on December 3, special forces of the Rosgvardia eliminated the AFU's manpower, military equipment and fortifications in the border area of Kursk region. It was noted that a network of dugouts, a cellar with militants, a stronghold with a large-caliber machine gun, two calculations of automatic machine grenade launcher (AGS) and a calculation of FPV drone of the Ukrainian army were destroyed.

The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
