The State Duma reported about indexation of pensions by 14.75% in 2025

In 2025, all pensions in Russia will be indexed by 14.75%. This was announced on December 5 by a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs Svetlana Bessarab.

It is specified that the increase in payments will occur from April 1, 2025.

According to Bessarab, the social supplementary payment to the pension will guarantee the subsistence minimum even for those pensioners whose income is below this level in their region.

"In this case, if the regional subsistence minimum will be higher than the federal value, the budget of the region will make the additional payment - as, for example, in Moscow," she told Lenta.ru.

In the event that the regional subsistence minimum is lower than the federal one, the additional payment will be made at the expense of the federal budget, the Duma committee member concluded.
