Within the framework of the project "Winter in Moscow" opened an exhibition "All on Ice!", where visitors will get acquainted with the history of winter sports and famous Russian athletes. This was reported on December 5 on the official website of the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin.
"Visitors will be able to see photos, cups, copies of awards of Russian athletes, equipment and inventory from the Soviet era to the present day. These are, for example, Soviet skates and hockey sticks, as well as modern helmets, copies of gold and silver medals won by Soviet and Russian athletes at the 1976-2010 Winter Olympics," the publication says.
The exposition also presents 3D-figures of legendary athletes, such as skater Evgeny Grishin, hockey player Valery Kharlamov, ten-time world champion in figure skating Irina Rodnina and others.
In addition, at the VDNKh skating rink guests will be able to attend master classes and contests, thematic performances, as well as participate in costume parties.
"Each guest of VDNKh will find an activity to his liking - from morning exercises on the ice to watching evening performances," - noted in the text.
Earlier, on December 3, on the official website of the mayor of the capital Sergey Sobyanin told about in what parks of the capital it will be possible to meet with Santa Claus. All entertainment of the capital, timed to the New Year, will be held from December 1, 2024 to February 28, 2025. The project includes the largest winter festivals of the capital, such as "Journey to Christmas", "Moscow Estates", "Moscow Tea Party", "City of Light", "Snow and Ice in Moscow" and others.
