The cost of bitcoin again updated the historical maximum and overcame the mark of $100 thousand. This is evidenced by the electronic trading indicators of the cryptocurrency exchange Binance on December 5.

According to the platform's data, at 5:33 Moscow time, the price of bitcoin overcame the mark of $100 thousand. In total, it rose by 4.49%.

Before that, bitcoin updated its maximum on November 22, reaching $ 99 thousand.

BitRiver financial analyst Vladislav Antonov told Izvestia on November 20 that bitcoin continues to show impressive growth. In his opinion, reaching the $100 thousand mark by the end of 2024 looks quite realistic. He noted that the current growth of the cryptocurrency is due to several key factors, such as the activation of the institutional sector.

On November 11, Capital Lab partner Evgeny Shatov also suggested in a conversation with Izvestia that by the end of this year, the value of bitcoin may reach $100 thousand. He added that the rate will grow if Trump continues to declare support for cryptocurrencies and specific actions in this direction.
