- Rosgvardiya provided medical assistance to residents of the Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions

Employees of the medical units of the Rosgvardiya provide medical assistance to both servicemen and civilians in Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions. This was reported by the press service of the department on December 5.
"When carrying out service at the point of temporary deployment often have to provide assistance both to victims of road accidents and when carrying out service at the post. A lot of local population applies in their free time due to the lack of a medical center, so at any time - night, day - we have to carry out both planned and emergency medical care in order to further refer the sick to medical institutions for examination and establishment of final diagnoses," - said a member of the medical service of the Rosgvardiya Alexander.
The Rosguard noted that in the liberated territories in villages and settlements there are elderly citizens who cannot reach paramedic stations to receive the necessary advice and assistance. Then medics are ready to come to the rescue, the Rosgvardeys organize trips for those in need. For example, in one of the settlements of the Zaporizhzhya region, where there are no medical facilities, a staff medic of the department with the call sign Doc provides assistance to the local population on a regular basis, checking the state of health of civilians.
It is noted that in these difficult times, when there is a threat to life and health, people see in the medical workers of the department not only qualified specialists, but also defenders, ready to come to the rescue at any second.
A Rosguard medical officer said that each call requires not only professional skills but also emotional fortitude, because patients experience not only physical pain but also fear generated by enemy propaganda. In such moments, it is important for the Rosgvardeys not only to correctly diagnose and prescribe treatment, but also to support the person morally. Local residents gratefully accept attention and care.
"Each appeal is not just a job, it is an opportunity to change someone's life for the better," said the medic with the call sign Doc, noting that on the front lines his help is of great importance.
Earlier, on April 5, Izvestia showed how military medical workers of the Rosgvardia help residents of the Kherson region. Military medics provide round-the-clock assistance to the victims of the region. Both fighters and civilians come to them.
The AFU is trying to strike at the Russian border territories, as well as the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions, which became part of Russia, amid a special operation to protect Donbass. Putin announced its beginning on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken amid an aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
