Vyacheslav Petushenko, Chairman of the Board of Avtodor, in an interview with Izvestia, spoke about the state company's plans to implement road construction projects in Russia in the coming years.

"At the end of the year we will introduce a small, but very important for the Moscow region section of the bypass of the village of Malye Vyazemy on the Central Ring Road (CRR). This will eliminate the intersection of the highway with the railroad tracks of the Smolensk direction. There is a very high intensity of traffic here: during rush hour trains run with an interval of 2-3 minutes", - he said.

In addition, the reconstruction of the highway M-1 - Minsk direction to the Big Ring Road, Dorokhovo settlement, which is planned to be completed and put into operation in 2026, is ongoing. The reconstruction of the section from New Moscow to Kaluga is also underway, where on weekends the traffic grows up to 80 thousand cars per day.

Another project scheduled for completion in 2027 is the construction of a 9 km bypass around Adler, which will relieve the road from the airport in Adler to Krasnaya Polyana and Sochi. Also on the instructions of the Russian president, projects are being prepared for the development of the road network along the Black Sea coast, Petushenko added.
