The Grad MLRS hit an AFU accumulation of personnel and equipment in the SSE zone

A Grad multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) of the Center group of troops has launched an artillery strike on a concentration of Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) personnel and equipment, supporting the advance of the advancing assault groups in the Red Army direction of the special military operation (SMO). The Russian Defense Ministry said on December 5.
"The combat task came, we drove out, rolled out. Pointed the gun, worked on the enemy. Destroyed the accumulation of military equipment and personnel," said platoon commander Ramazan Makhdeev.
Russian scouts using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) detected enemy firing points and transmitted the exact coordinates to the artillerymen.
After the Grad MLRS calculation received the data on the location of the AFU points, it immediately moved to a combat position, deployed the vehicle and with 122-millimeter fragmentation-fugitive shells at a distance of more than 15 kilometers struck targets located in the forest belt, thus ensuring the advance of the advancing assault groups.
Earlier, on December 4, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the Akatsiya self-propelled artillery units (SAU) of the Zapad force group destroyed a camouflaged platoon stronghold with AFU personnel and armored vehicles in the area of the special military operation.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
